Promoting safe medication disposal in medical education: Lessons from a student-driven advocacy project

Pharmacy students have the potential to function as sources of information regarding proper ways to dispose of medicine and positively influence future medicinal disposal. A total of 35 students engaged in a comprehensive workshop, conducted by Alpro Pharmacy, focusing on safe medication disposal. The workshop imparted invaluable insights into the medicinal disposal procedures and the consequences of pharmaceutical waste on the environment.
