Follow these 5 easy steps:

  1. Separate your expired, damaged or unused medicines.
  2. Cross out your personal information and destroy the Farmatag hologram safety label from the medicine’s packaging.
  3. Pack your medicines in suitable containers. Do not remove medicines from their original packaging.
  4. Bring the medicines to your nearest MyMediSAFE partner for proper and safe disposal.
  5. Scan the QR code on the collection box and answer the short survey.

The collected medicines will be appropriately disposed of by a disposal service provider for Scheduled Substances. Appropriate and safe disposal methods ensure environmental sustainability and prevent health risks from exposure to pharmaceutical waste and antimicrobial resistance.

There are no charges for disposing of medicines through MyMediSAFE.
