Launching of safe medication disposal box

In honouring its dedication to safe medication disposal, KPJ Ampang Puteri Specialist Hospital introduced the Safe Medication Disposal Kiosk during World Pharmacists’ Day in 2022, inaugurated by Chief Executive Officer En Muhammad Badri Hussin. This initiative further expanded in 2023 with the launch of the Safe Medication Disposal Box in collaboration with Cenviro. KPJ also organised training sessions for the public, emphasising the importance of proper medication disposal to ensure a safer and healthier community by responsibly disposing of unused or expired medications.
